Advanced Nutrient Therapy for Mental Health Conditions - Walsh Protocol

The Walsh Protocol

This treatment uses advanced training through the Walsh Research Institute on using an individuals biochemistry to tailor a unique treatment for mental health disorders.

The Walsh Protocol offers an alternative therapy for treating mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, addictions, violent behaviors, post-partum depression, poor anger control and others. This protocol involves evaluating an individuals unique biochemistry to understand the root cause of their symptoms and behaviors and then using nutrients as a method of correcting imbalances.

Using nutrients offers an alternative way to adjust imbalances in brain neurotransmitter activity and has the advantage of avoiding the side effects that traditional medications can cause. The levels of neurotransmitters in the brain can be influenced by nutrients that affect their production and elimination.

Nutrient therapy can be used together with conventional medication to enhance the therapeutic benefit of medications and can also offer the opportunity to decrease the dose of medications and sometimes eliminate their need all together.  This approach works well for people who are not meeting their treatment goals with standard care alone or who have side effects from medications and are looking for an alternative approach to combine with their current care.  People often find success with nutrient therapy before traditional medications and therapy are instituted as well. I combine this nutrient therapy with an individuals current mental health care treatment and will work collaboratively with their current mental health provider.

I believe that people deserve a thorough investigation of the root cause of their symptoms.  Since every individual has a unique, biochemistry everyone deserves a personalized treatment approach.
